Our SETBP1Strong Team virtually rode in the 2021 Million Dollar Bike Ride again for the 3rd year!! This rare disease fundraising event is sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania Orphan Disease Center. Every $1 raised by each team, even rider registration fees, directly funds research in the disease area represented by the team. Over 40 rare disease teams participated this year. In addition to being able to participate in this transformative rare disease event designed to raise awareness and fund research, each participating team receives $1 for $1 matching up to $30,000 by the University of Pennsylvania Orphan Disease Center!

This year, our SETBP1Strong Team rallied and surpassed our goal to raise $60,000 for SETBP1 disorder research!! With the University of Pennsylvania Orphan Disease Center matching, the SETBP1Strong fundraising and registration fees, the total funds for 2021 MDBR SETBP1 disorder research is $90,542!
