Facebook is also matching up to $7 million starting at 7:00am CST/8:00am ET until funds run out. Your donation could be doubled or even tripled!! Our goal is to raise $25,000 with your support!

How can you help?
We ask our supporters to create a Facebook Fundraiser for Giving Tuesday. You can share it with your friends, family, co-workers or whomever is part of your Facebook community the evening before Giving Tuesday or on Giving Tuesday. You can also ask close friends and family to set up their own Giving Tuesday Facebook Fundraiser to support our/your cause!

Sharing your Fundraiser:
We’ve seen the most success with not only inviting your friends and family to your fundraiser (through Facebook or email) but also sending them direct messages with a specific call to action (e.g. would you consider donating $10 to support my cause)? Lower donation entry points can help encourage more people to contribute. You may also consider reaching out to a few close friends or family members to get the fundraiser going before you reach out to your broader network.

What if I do not use Facebook?
You can still help fundraise by sending an email to friends and family asking them to donate directly to SETBP1 Society at https://www.paypal.me/setbp1 or to write a check to SETBP1 Society (mailing address: P.O. Why are we raising funds on Giving Tuesday?
Last Giving Tuesday, we raised funds to support the development of a SETBP1 disorder mouse model. The Jackson Laboratory is currently wrapping up development of the SETBP1 disorder mouse model which will be available to researchers within the next couple of months! This Giving Tuesday, we are raising funds to take the mouse to the next level. You heard right, we are leveling up our SETBP1 disorder mouse model! We need to dive deeper into understanding the SETBP1 disorder mouse model and what impact loss of SETBP1 protein has on the mouse. We also plan to take the mouse to the next level by understanding what happens when SETBP1 protein is restored at various stages of the mouse’s life.

What is the fundraising goal on Giving Tuesday?
Our goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise $25,000 for SETBP1 disorder mouse research! We have $35,000 from prior fundraising so this would give us the ability to fund up to a $60,000 mouse model grant!
